I've been told that, to unlock this awful block I've had with my writing over the last 10 years or so, that I should just sit down (kind of like I am now) and just start writing whatever is on your mind at the time. Well, that's the problem. I'll "sit down" to write something, and everything that I had been "meandering" about for the last hour or so would just disappear as soon as I started to write. Whether it was sitting at the keyboard or picking up a pencil and paper (yes, I prefer to write in pencil. I know it smudges. It just feels better than ink.) and attempting to put down what I intended to write. So I said, "Screw it," loaded up the blog and just started plunking down every thought that came to mind. To kill a little time before heading out for errands.
Like I have to do now.
